Children love their parents and want to be with them. Even in times of great stress, parents have a responsibility to conduct their legal affairs in a manner that will protect their children from adult conflicts.

Not all states have laws like those in Texas which allow persons to marry legally without going through a licensing procedure and marriage ceremony. Visitation Services

YWCA Common Ground (http://www.co.travis.tx.us/dro/ywca.asp)

Purpose of Common Ground is too provide parental access for children of separation, divorce, remarriage, or any traumatic event—in a way that is safe, sensitive to children's needs, constructive, and actively promotes healthy family relationships.

KIDS EXCHANGE (http://www.co.travis.tx.us/dro/kids_exchange.asp)

Kids Exchange is a local non-profit organization that helps children who are experiencing difficulties with divorce or separation. The services can be ordered by the court to assure custodial or visitation terms of a decree are carried out. Parents must pay fees in order to use Kids Exchange. Fees are assessed on a sliding scale basis.
